Casström No.10 Swedish Forest Knife - Canvas Micarta

The Swedish Forest Knife – Canvas Micarta Edition

A rugged and dependable companion in the wilderness, the Swedish Forest Knife is a robust tool crafted for demanding outdoor tasks. This full-tang workhorse is engineered for serious bushcraft, hunting, and survival – when only the toughest steel will do.

This type of impregnation can make the sheath a little tacky and may therefore need to be wiped/polished occasionally with a cotton cloth.

Field-Tested Performance: With a 4mm thick blade crafted from premium A8 Mod steel, this knife excels in carving, skinning, and even splitting firewood. The steel’s exceptional toughness offers outstanding chip resistance – ideal for high-impact use in challenging terrain.

Classic Scandi Grind: The Scandinavian grind delivers clean, controlled cuts and makes field sharpening straightforward. Whether you’re shaping tent pegs, cleaning game, or preparing kindling, the edge geometry supports efficient, versatile use.

Durable Canvas Micarta Handle: Designed for resilience in all conditions, the handle offers excellent grip even when wet. The ergonomic contours ensure comfort during prolonged tasks, and the Micarta’s rugged, understated aesthetic develops rich character over time.

Hot-Waxed Leather Sheath: The sheath is crafted from thick vegetable-tanned European leather and hot-wax treated with beeswax and neatsfoot oil for natural moisture protection – no synthetic chemicals, just traditional, proven materials that age beautifully with use.

Built to Last: With full-tang construction and a design rooted in real-world function, the Swedish Forest Knife is made to serve for years – even generations. In the event of a broken handle, the full tang allows continued use in the field.

Perfect for Hard Use: Whether carried as your primary blade or as part of a larger kit, this knife is made to perform in the boreal forest, on the mountain, or by the fire. It’s a no-nonsense tool for those who demand the best from their gear.
