BeaverCraft Green Wood Spoon Carving Kit

Take a freshly cut branch or small log, a few well-chosen tools, and turn it into a spoon made entirely by hand. The Green Wood Spoon Carving Kit is a complete introduction to traditional spoon carving and green woodworking.

The kit includes a carving axe for splitting and shaping the wood, a sloyd whittling knife for refining the form, a hook knife for carving the bowl of the spoon, durable leather sheaths, and an adjustable leather carving bib that helps stabilize the workpiece while carving.

Green wood retains its natural moisture, making it easier to carve than dry wood and allowing tools to cut more smoothly with less effort. This makes it an excellent way to practice spoon carving and develop confidence with traditional hand tools.

Designed for both workshop and outdoor use, this all-in-one kit lets you carve at home, by the campfire, or deep in the forest. It’s not just about making a spoon—it’s about slowing down, working with the grain, and enjoying a rewarding feeling of creating a useful object entirely by hand.
